Story
Utopia Food Agricultural Products Tourism Industry and Trade. Ltd. Sti. is a company based in Aydın, serving the dried fruit production sector, especially concentrated on dried figs. The company today produces on a 1000 m2 sized closed area and has been founded by two women entrepreneurs’ partnership who have previously gained experience in different sectors.
Following some social responsibility projects that have been developed in order to find a market for the products produced by women in the mountain villages of Aydın, the company's production foundations were laid. It combines the experiences gained in the food and agriculture sector with today's technologies and makes production in accordance with the quality principles.
Every day, the company plans to expand its market share in line with the principles; with strong emphasis on quality and hygiene standards, the main target is to reach more consumers. One of the main objectives of the company is to raise awareness of female producers and to increase women's employment.
The plant, which has an annual processing and packaging capacity of 2000 tons, plans the production period according to the consumption of dried figs during 12 months. In addition to dried figs, also raisin and paradise apple (Persimmon) which have been cultivated in the region, are processed and packaged.
